DOTCOM Phase #3, Module 2 - Exploring REEL BAD ARABS

"Arabs"
when I hear or saw this word that moment really I begin to think about "Burc arab!"
You know becouse it is fantastic place. I am sure that most pupils about 75% of our school is thinking like me :)Bye the way It was framed by the best architects in the world!

1)THE THREE-PART BRAIN - In what ways do YOU think REEL BAD ARABS attracted your REPTILIAN (instinctual), FEELING (limbic) and THINKING (neo-cortex) brains?
So I think this movie influences to our REPTILIAN BRAIN it works till the end. Because we would not anticipate that there might be happen sudden things.and we just leap out :) then Secondly I suppose that there are also functions of THE LIMBIC BRAIN and THE NEOCORTEX BRAIN. you see The limbic brain is worked till the the by Music of Movie. and Finally,this also influences THE NEOCORTEX BRAIN.Because we think about stereotypes
2)PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES - List and describe one specific production technique - lighting, music, camera effects, editing - used by REEL BAD ARABS.
generally, this question is of great significance in our media life. every movie makers use PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES but after finishing film you begin to think whish part of PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES I used specificly? I think the most necessary thing is MUSIC! after watcing film I thought how Fantasticly they used Music! after each part of movie music is changing.
In conclusion I would like to summarize that Music is the Heart of Movie
3)PERSUASIVE TECHNIQUES - Looking at our list of 24 plus persuasive techniques, list and describe a specific moment from the film as an example of THREE different specific persuasive techniques used by our filmmakers.
Big Lie- you know in this moviie they used so many lies I don't mean that they told any lies things but some episodes in movie for example: They used episodes from the films "back to future" then "alladin" and so on. through this lies they got humor haha I mean lies discovers Humor that is good!
Plain folks- in these movie there are so many Plain folks I don't know why movie makers use them But I support their ideas that is why ill think just a moment hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm okey Maybe they use them becouse they couldn't find anybody who is popular. so I am serios I couldn't find why they use them but wait for increasing maybe for attracte people???? this s stupid???
Simple solutions: if I don't make a mistake in that movie they told about solutions of Stereotype I guess through this solution They attract people to think about solution and get more viewers.....
4)SUGGESTIONS - Offer one specific suggestion for the REEL BAD ARABS filmmakers that might make their film even more powerful.
So, I think... wait Rob Are you sure that The best filmmakers will not grasp my idea? If I will write here they will. Maybe I will send you this through massage? I am kidding :D okey My suggestion is to increase lies,humor not fighting situations fighting in Arabs films don't suit becouse their face is no serios lik others. Actually they use more executioner in Movies thet executioner kills more people. I offer to dicrease this peculiarities for future. that is all for this moudle I don't wanna reveal my secrets.
5) Would you recommend this film for viewing with friends or colleagues? Why or why not?
Exactly, I would recommend this to myfriends.couse I wanna learn more opinions about this film and I would like to demonstrate my secrets to my friends who doen't wanna be filmmaker otherwise They will rob my ideas and will use :) In conclusion I would like to remark that That was fantstic movie;)

DOTCOM Launches PHASE 3! - Module #1: Reflecting on DOTCOM, Phase 2

first of all Hails everyone I miss you guys! I am excited to meet you in March. I am going to answer a questions.
1. What proved the most challenging part of our July Phase 2 DOTCOM experience for you? Realy I didn't see any challenging thing within period of project. Everything was awesomr thanks for everthing. you know I wanna remark(a couple days there were problem with internet but nothing can not stop us :) ) specialy thanks for Tessa for making movie ;)
2. What proved the most rewarding part of our July Phase 2 DOTCOM experience for you? I learnt to respect each other this. I am improveing my english day by day. I learnt american manner lifes hat was fantastic. My father and mother lernt me to play bassball thaks for them too.
3. What proved the most fun part of our July Phase 2 DOTCOM experience for you?
all days were fantastic but Specially Bolton adventure center then DOTCOM night. some parties in vermont we played soccer bascetball. and of course the pool party!
4. What are you most excited about, looking forward to our online Phase 3 DOTCOM experience coming up this fall?
I except so much fun!!! and making new movies! we plan to make new businnes in Boston haha

1.Peace/War/Conflict: So I want to talk about peace. We are peace loving people. we stand for peace. We don't want war. we wish peace. Peace is the spice of live. If we live in peace we can preserve the meaning of the life; work, study with other nations in the world.It is dream everybody to see clear blue sky, to see the symbol of peace doves in the open skies.
2.Environment: I would like to demonstrate something about environment.We have to look after environment.
3.Food/Agriculture: Azerbaijan kitchen is very rich in dishes. I love our national cooks and European cooks. there are a lot of kinds of soup, salads, and second meals.I love them.

SAMIR-My 90 second elevator pitch

Hi, My name is Samir. Surname is Karimov. I was born in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Below I would like to demonstrate something about me. Now I am a student and in the 9th form. I has continually been appreciated and praised by the teachers and classmates. I live with my family in a happy condition. I most like to study subjects such as history, math, geography .Additionally, I always strive to get information about internet, technology and media .Due to this competence I can get or be aware of recent information about political and economical changes in the world in a short time. My dream is to be useful person for my country and contribute my experience from programs like DOTCOM, to people in my country. One of my dreams is visiting a lot of countries, to see their cultures. As chess player, I was invited to Austria, Serbia, Turkey, Dubai, Greece and Georgia. Besides it, I am a football fan of Azerbaijan national team; I went to Iceland, Turkey, and Georgia to participate in these matches. I am very compassionate and merciful boy. I constantly take part in several ceremonies to orphanages and mental houses and gave donations to them .I am also very campable in English. I think it is enough and now it is my time to step forward and to make our world prospering and peaceful!

Wrapping up Phase1!

First of all,thank you very much for challenging us to this project.I believe that this project has given us the fundamental knowledge or literacy about Mass Media. Hence,it will play great role in our future career(being journalist).
As regard your questions, answers are listed below.
a)The most exciting part of the DOTCOM PHASE1 project for me was "Our brains on Media".Especially finding an interesting and funny videos to explain what part of brains get influenced and how they are influenced.
b)The most challenging part of the DOTCOM PHASE1 project for me was "The persuasive language of Media".It was more challenged and interesting,because it required more tasks,and gave more knowledge about Mass Media.I read or learned more than 20 persuasive techniques.Thanks to it,I improved my media knowledge to some extent.
c)I have not got any suggestions.Everything,from teaching method to having more interval of time to accomplish models, satisfied me.
2)I found this video to be more interesting and funny.Because it contains more funniest episodes.The best way to convince you why it is so funny,you must watch it entirely from the beginning to the end;)

Media and Leadership-Learning The Persuasive Language of Media

This video influences to all 3 parts of my brain.1) It appeals to my REPTILIAN brain. The unanticipated appearance of Jinn influences to my Reptilian brain. 2) The images and actions we see and music or noises that we hear appeals to our LIMBIC brains.3) We think about this advertisement after the watching the whole video-How is it impossible all people here got the "puma" by magic of the jinn. So our NEOCORTEX brains begin to regulate it.

Humour: I believe that the main impression on everybody who watched this video is humour. Due to the magic of jinn from the lamp every people get puma. This situation makes humour. Thereby smile appears on everybody's faces.

Symbol: here is the symbol-"puma". This symbol plays an important role in financial position of "Puma" factory or company. That is why I think using "Puma" symbol in every part of actions, especially in the end of the ad simplify the identification of this kind of shoes among others for people who want to get it without remembering the name hardly.

Plain folks: we see tens of people in this advertisement. While using these people in the advertisement, the company easily implants the strong quality of "Puma" to us or persuades that everybody is fond of "Puma" here. In this way the number of customers increases.

Big lie: here is also a big lie such an appearance of jinn. How can it help the company to involve the customers? Of course I believe that there must be strong beginning of advertisement to attract the viewers to watch the whole of the ad and then may be they will be motivated by this advertisement to buy “Puma”. All in a one, it evokes interest on everybody who sees it.

Group dynamics: I think that putting on the same of "Puma" together is one kind of solidarity. In the advertisement we see this item contributes to the people to be more solidary with one another. Although there are not any group dynamic power words, but we feel that a group of the students, fishermen and others deliver us these dynamics with their convenience on "Puma"-s and smile on their faces.

In addition to these, I think that here are used HYPERBOLE (because of persuading by making exaggerated claims) and BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE (persuading through images of good-looking individuals).
